Sani Aliyu, the national Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 stated this on monday while he is announcing new guidelines for the second phase of the eased lockdown during a briefing in Abuja.

The federal government prohibits street trading and hawking but artisans can about their businesses.

According to PUNCH reports, Sani Aliyu said “In terms of general movement it was made known that person may go out for work, go out to buy necessary food and for exercise, provided they abide by the curfew hours.

He adviced the masses that it is still safer to stay at home and avoid crowds because the pandemic is not over in this country.

He also speaks on interstate movement across state boundaries still remains restricted but movement of goods and services are not restricted.

He said further “For government offices, they can open between the hours of 9am and 2pm. So, no changes in opening hours but can work from Monday to Friday, prior to this, we allowed three working days. However, all persons within the Grade level of 14 and above at both the federal and state government will be allowed to come to work he said”
